  • Name

Using media

Add to timeline

Drag from media bin to:

  • Main track — primary video content
  • Overlay track — images, graphics
  • Audio track — music, voiceover

Remove from project

  1. Select media in bin
  2. Press Delete or right-click → "Remove"
  3. Choose:
    • Remove from bin — keeps in project
    • Delete from project — removes entirely (can't undo)

Storage

  • Media files — stored in browser (OPFS/IndexedDB)
  • Project data — includes references, not the raw files
  • Export — original quality preserved

Limitations

  • Size — limited by browser storage (typically 60% of available disk)
  • Format — some formats may need conversion (auto-handled)
  • Cloud — not synced; project + media on one device

Tips

  • Name files clearly — "intro-shot.jpg" is better than "IMG_1234.jpg"
  • Organize before importing — rename on disk, import clean
  • Import in batches — easier to manage than all at once
  • Remove unused — keep project lean
