How to apply a template

Step 1: Open the Agent panel

  1. Click "Agent" in the top-right header
  2. Panel opens on the left side

Step 2: Request template

Type one of these:

TikTok:

"Apply the TikTok highlight template"

Podcast:

"Apply the podcast clip template"

UGC ad:

"Make this a UGC ad"

Product demo:

"Turn this into a product demo"

Cinematic:

"Apply cinematic story template"

Music:

"Apply music cutdown template for beat edits"

Step 3: Wait for processing

The agent applies multiple changes:

  1. Sets canvas — changes aspect ratio
  2. Reframes — smart crops to new format
  3. Applies style — color grade and effects
  4. Generates captions — if audio present
  5. Adds hooks/CTAs — if template defines them

You'll see: "Applying template..." → "Setting canvas..." → "Reframing..." → "Done"

Step 4: Review

Play the preview. Check:

  • Framing — faces/products centered?
  • Colors — style matches your vision?
  • Captions — text readable?
  • Pacing — feels right for the format?

Tips

  • Apply template early — sets canvas; everything after adapts
  • Undo if wrong — Cmd/Ctrl+Z reverts all template changes
  • Save as recipe — after customizing, save for reuse
  • Match to platform — TikTok template for Reels/Shorts too

Troubleshooting

| Issue | Fix | |-------|-----| | Wrong canvas size | Template sets its default; ask "set canvas to 16:9" to override | | Captions too bold | Ask "switch caption skin to minimal-clean" | | Reframe cut off face | Ask "reframe with face focus" | | Style too strong | Ask "lighten style" or switch style pack | | Template missing CTA | Some templates include CTA; others don't. Add manually: "Add CTA overlay" |
